Our Story
A passion for craft, cut into every piece.
We're a Canadian husband-and-wife team blending creativity and precision.
She spent years as a nursery school teacher with a love for crafts and hands-on creativity. He came from a technical background in programming, always drawn to design and problem-solving. Somewhere in the middle, our interests met.
In early 2023, we started experimenting with a vinyl cutting machine, creating SVG files for shirts and sports silhouettes. Designing clean, scalable vector files felt like a natural fit, combining creativity with technical structure. Before long, we opened our shop on Etsy to start sharing our designs.
Then something unexpected happened.
One of our silhouette designs was purchased and later shown laser engraved onto a knife handle in a customer review. Seeing our work brought to life in wood changed everything.
Nine days later, we bought an xTool P2 laser.
We began designing and building signs, ornaments, layered pieces, testing ideas, refining fit, and learning about kerf, materials, and assembly through real-world experience. We brought our creations to Christmas craft shows, where customer reactions helped shape and improve our designs.
Exactly one year after buying the laser, we made a big decision: to pursue this full time.
Today, every laser file we sell has been designed, test-cut, and assembled by us, often multiple times, before it ever reaches our shop. If we haven't built it ourselves, we don't release it.
When UV resin entered the picture, it opened up an entirely new creative direction. Combining detailed laser work with colorful resin layers led to one of our favorite creations: bold, dimensional suncatchers that come alive when the light hits them.
What began as two different skill sets has grown into a shared creative business. We continue to design ornaments, layered signs, jewelry, and suncatchers, always experimenting, always refining, and always looking for the next idea to bring to life.
